FP war lockup - Nasty bug

I have been playing the new DLC as France, purchased from Gamersgate, with the latest patch.
Twice the game has locked up when resolving a battle. After the battle display disappears, a telescope appears as the cursor, and nothing happens.
Then, none of the controls of the game work. There is nothing you can do except control alt delete and close PON.
I do not think this is saved. This does not happen every turn, but happened in two of the eight turns I played.
Each game was lost. If you want to recreate the bug, I think it can be done by playing France and ending turn a few times.
This needs to be fixed, as it is ruining a fascinating and challenging scenario.

A little more information on the freeze -
It may happen when two different battles take place on the same day.
The first time it happened, the another battle display tried to superimpose itself on the first. Then both disappeared, and the freeze happened as described above.
The second time it happened, I did not notice another battle display.

And now, it locked up the same way when I just ended turn, no battles, it just hung indefinitely with the telescope cursor, though this time I was able to get out of the game.
This is most frustrating, as I see an opportunity to cut the Boche supply line to their main army in front of Paris, or at least have some cavalry tear up the tracks, and the scenario freezes - ah well, the Prussians did have good luck during that campaign, along with many other advantages.

If you process again the turn, does it locks? If yes, send me the save at
phmalacher@ageod.netAs for two battles superimposing, it is solved for the next beta patch (N).

This has been discussed on paradox forum for days now.
I have only one screen and discover the same phenomenon. If I press strg, alt, delete I am able to get out of this. If I close the game start it new and go on with resume the game will end the solutuon phase without problem only to stopp again working when "Supply rule....." in the next solution phase pops up.
So it is not a ctd but very unpleasant.

No it will work after processing it again.
But the next turn or a few turns later the same phenomenon happens again.

Are you running the game in "window - with borders"?
If so, change to "Fullscreen" and try again.....

No has nothing to do with that.
It seems to affect rather advanced games.
Could it have to do something with distribution problems, since that is the last what works in the resolution phase? Just an idea.
And it always gets a compleet resolution after restarting the game.
Next turn same happening. Once I see the telescope I know its time for restarting (resuming) the game.
If you read the other posts its the same bug for everybody posting there.

I processed the turn again, twice, and it did not lock. It it happens again I will send you the save.
Glad you fixed the other problem, thank you.

Thank you for the link. I also have only one screen and it does appear to be the same problem.
