go a long way towards me putting this game aside is "rebel" activity crap. 4 regions in Louisiana are under rebel control.

It may be historical (I don't really think it is), but it makes the game very dissatisfying to have to deal with rebels constantly and micromanage my garrisons and chase down rebels.

What did you do to earn the wrath of a rebellion? The best solution would be to lower taxes, increase luxuries as much as possible, and get your population to be happy.

The US civil war events are broken, creating too soon a very large rebel loyalty in the South. I've posted a temporary fix on the Paradox forum, as the ingame mechanics are just unable to cope with this bug.

That's cool. I just wanted someone to at l;east say "Yeah, it's an issue." I would have been very afraid if I had heard "Working as intended!"
