Hi all, as in title I have the newest patch installed...and sometimes the game starts without a problem other times the game starts and then it cuts to a black screen. This is new...I did not have this problem with the previous beta patch. Anyway when I do cnt-alt-tab I see in the windows task manager that the game has stopped running. I then close the game down and when I start the game again I don't have the problem. :bonk:
I have windows 7/i5 cpu/2.66GHz/ 6 gigs RAM/NVidia card GeForce 220 (1 gig)

Otherwise good work and a great game :)

Maybe you can revert back to last patch? I haven't had this issue, but I have still had CTDs. Not a lot, but enough to lose 1 year (About 24-25 turns.) when I had to roll back.

I have the same issue you have described with the latest beat (1.01f), and I have an NVIDIA GeForce 570 GTX, 8GB RAM and Windows 7 Pro 64. Maybe it's an NVIDIA driver compatibility issue? Anyone have this problem with an ATI card?

I've got a NVidia GeForce 330M, 8 GB Ram on a laptop with absolutely no issues so I guess it's not just a NVidia issue.
