The US begins with a mission to have the 2nd largest merchant fleet in the world. It also says that the US must have a minimum of 100 merchant ships....whatever that means. After one year the mission fails. Why??

The US can't build more than one more merchant fleet. The total max merchant ships with 6 per fleet is 48. Is this mission impossible to complete or bugged or both?

Still broken in the f patch. Seriously, how did this get through? In September of 1851 the minimum number of ships jumps from 30 to 100, which is impossible to have. Will this be fixed?

Yes, they know about this and plan on fixing it with the next patch.
