This event gives me a CB against Greece; honor demands I use it. But how?

On the diplomacy screen with Greece, I see the CB, but no button to actually put it to work.

Can anyone please help?

In the available treaty list you should have a 'Declare War' option after you receive a CB - click it and choose OK at the bottom the same way as you would if you were offering any type of treaty (commercial agreement etc.)

Alas, no treaty option to declare war. Just the old propose visit, promise support (ha!) and propose commercial agreement.

Note that I start the game with a defensive treaty. Does this prevent a DoW? I do not see a way to cancel the agreement. In which case the CB is mystifyingly irrelevant....

Any other ideas?

Well, I'll check that...the CB should allow war, but may be the pre-existing alliance creates an issue... so it means I shall change the event to add a 'Breakage of Alliance' in addition

Will that open up the DoW option?

Even with the temporary CB, I can't actually gain anything in a war with Greece (other than personal satisfaction) right? There would be no real point other than joy in their demise? Does an eventual peace offer include any possible benefits for me?
