I am blown away by the quality foundation this game is built on. The excellent war engine that Ageod developed in its previous titles combined one of the better economic gaming models developed on to date has yielded a product that, assuming the kinks can be worked out, could easily become revolutionary in the strategy game space.

I sure hope you guys make some money with this title so that strategy gaming at this level can move in a direction of realistic economic modelling in combination with historical realism.

Good luck dealing with the rough issues (time per turn, diplomatic bugs, etc) - thank you for the beautiful product that is Pride of Nations.

best,
Justin

I have to agree. Despite all the quirks and issues, I still think this is a solid game model. I complain a lot about technical issues, but despite all that I believe Ageod games have an excellent design, and I'd like to thank Ageod for doing what they do.

Thanks you gents. We are now part of Paradox, but we still see VGN/PON as our long awaited baby, very dear to our hearts. We are thus really happy to see that the vast majority of you see that PON has very strong foundations, on which we can build even more. :)

I'll add my agreement to this - I only got to play over the weekend and I was very impressed - I'm finding it really addictive - ended up doing just one more turn until 3am in order to continue my invasion of the Turks

Incidently, I'm not finding the bugs to be a huge dent in my enjoyment (although I'm only at 1852)

I got a little frustrated with the Japanese-Russian war scenario and didn't play a lot until yesterday. I started a gran campaign yesterday and am now kicking myself for not playing more this weejend.

i was also surprised with the time i was able to play without encountering the bugs that everyone seems to find...
It is a great game and with the upcoming patch it will be even more pleasant to play ...
