Saab AB was founded 1937 and somewhat after the scope of the game, might even be out of the scope of games set in future too .

Trade it for eg. Mölnlycke_AB, a company with old history and even today a large corporation. They were giants in everything concerning forest related products.

I would also like to suggest Husqvarna AB for Östergötland, a company that had huge impact on the industrialization of Sweden (and well known world-wide).

The gun making there resulted in a a massive increase of tool shops all around the areas. Automatic Lathe systems etc were more or less invented around companies like these. The ship propeller was for instance invented in Filipstad(in the Västergötland region), something the Union were thankful for (Monitor) . Primus kitchen was another revolutionary invention from this area. Later and just about within the scope we have the ball bearing giants SKF AB.

Slightly later though . Sewing Machines and garden machines of all kinds are also there plus boat motors etc.

The company had a huge effect on the area called "Småland" in Sweden, where also most of the Swedish emigrants to USA came from.

I would suggest you list for us a good lot of interesting Swedish companies' names from the 19th century (and doon't be chauvinistic, you can add Danes and Norwegians for good measure too :mdr ....

Considering Norway was also Sweden it should be easy .

I will try to do so but I also understand that this aspect is abstracted so one could take some of the more important companies like those already mentioned plus maybe Stora(worlds oldest incorporated company I believe), Ericsson, Sandvik and some other important ones. I think we have some moderator from Norway so that expertise should be easy to find .
