Something wrong with collection points in game. Russian region Abo don't have any appropriate structure for it (town and harbor only lvl 1) but it marked as if this region have Collection Point itself. Lots of colony regions which don't have any structures except simple anchorage also marked green with Collection Points filter. May be manual is wrong and lvl 1 port is sufficient for it?

I believe the port acts as a collection point if you have a merchant ship in the trade zone.

I got the same effect as I tried my Prussian gameplay with an new approach, but I am not really sure if this is right.

I seem to recall any type of port (so including anchorage) acts as a Collection Point. Not sure whether I read that in the manual or in a tutorial...

Collection Point (Page 85 of manual)

Even if you have sufficient stock of raw materials, it is possible that a given structure will not be able to produce because it does not have access to that stock. Your stock is assumed to be distributed throughout your national
territory. To check availability, each structure will verify if it is in or adjacent to a region that has a collection point; note that adjacent regions must be in the same Commercial Zone as the region of the structure for their resources to be accessible.

A region is a collection point if it has a structure which is:
• A national capital
• A town of Level 3 or greater
• A Port of Level 2 or greater
• A "Collection Point" structure

The collection point structure must also not be besieged, or under blockade (in the case of a Port). If the collection point does not belong to you, you must have an Investment Rights Treaty with the country that possesses it.
It is possible to verify the status of each region and its collection point. To check, click on the Collection Points filter.

• A green color signifies that the region is itself a collection point.
• An ochre color indicates a region is adjacent to a collection point and that the two regions are in the same Commercial Zone (see Commercial Zones in the Commerce chapter).
• A region in red does not have an available collection point.

In the latter case, the structure cannot produce, and will deactivate itself. In the other cases, it can be operational but only if it is possible to get its production to the home country.

Example: Even if Great Britain has cotton fields in Egypt, and those fields are near a large Egyptian city that can serve as a collection point (and if Egypt and Great Britain have an Investment Rights Treaty), this would not be
sufficient to ensure that the cotton produced reaches Britain's stock. The cotton must be brought back to Britain!

Now, I wonder what is going on, given that Abo does not technically meet the criteria (although it does have a fishing port, maybe that increases things to collection point?).

It could very well be that all ports are collection points, not just port 2?

I believe it was changed recently during last beta to all ports, start from level 1. Noted for manual correction need.

It makes economical/production mode of game much easer. Is it really good?
