How will Canada be handled after 1867? As a new playable faction, or still controlled by Britian?

Playable nations for Pride of Nations will be limited for the Grand Campaign to the major nations, so, in its inception, Canada will not be a nation one can play. However, everything is moddable...

If Canada at the beginning of the game is controlled by britian up untill 1867, who will take over, AI ? Or does Britian have controll? What about other nations who gain independance in this era? Thanks.

Canada after 1867 will have the status of Dominion, which does not mean 'indepedance'... Dominions will still be player-controlled in some ways

Canada will still be in player hands, right, as Foreign Policy was still historically handled by GBR if not mistaken (and in facts it was the case). BUT ... dominions nations will have 'independent initiatives', you can consider that as a dedicated, 'inner politic and development only' separate AI for each nation.
