Goodies to maintain interest ?!

Hello, I don't know if I will buy the game, but I am genuinely interested, but to keep me coming to the forums once in a while to check where this is going I need to be baited like any customer, so.....
Is there anyway Ageod could start posting regularly screenshots, stories, etc..?
It is a bit depressing that since the "what do i see here" thread we haven't seen anything new... My interest is at risk of withering...

Well, you had other goodies around here... it looks like you missed them...
But, just like Arne said, the more near we are to the release date, the more info you will have.

i have been waiting for this game for a long time and am a definate customer when it does get released. I can wait, if it means that it is released in a fit to play state from the off, unlike the ww1 game.
Can we have an assurance from ageod that this game will be fit for purpose on release

I am not saying I want the game to be rushed, I am just saying I could use a fix of screenshots once in a while... I feel my interest slowly ebbing away...

No-one said you wanted that (would be very surprised if you did)
Your [S]blackmail[/S] request has been noted; we'll see what we soon can crank out.

Indeed, I feel a screenshot can be delivered soon (before the end of June

).

Don't see where you get that from, but you've always had a tendency to read posts slightly differently than the rest of us

so nothing to date... I am not really complaining, just pointing out that I didn't come back for 4 days to check the forum.. Back when AACW was being developped, I came back everyday drooling with desire...

Yes, I agree... a little more "marketing" would be wise, IMHO

Well, you do have some things here and there... but were not "discussed" properly... so why should I post more units for example?
The truth is that we do not like to post unfinished screens. This is to avoid you get a wrong idea of the game. So, that means that until all the interfaces are final, you will not see many more ingame mechanism screenshots.
Yeah, I know, from a "consumer perspective" that's sad becuase you can't discuss this or that feature... but be patient... it is done with the best intentions.
Anyway, I will see if I can post something these days...

Come on! let poor Pocus and co. work!
I want them coding things 24/7 not posting screenies
Its not like VGN is scheduled for release next week... its still months away!
Besides, Pocus said above he will post a screenshot before the end of the month... he still have more than 10 days for this
Cheers!

hehe, don't worry... we do have enough pressure... the game must be UNIQUE and fun to play... that's enough pressure IMHO.
But anyway, I am "cooking" something about this for the weekend... let us work a bit more before showing you another teaser...

yes, an additional screenshot will be provided very soon

For the rest, Generalisimo is right... people can get the wrong impression with too early screenshots.

I will just have to quote Pocus again...
...people can get the wrong impression with too early screenshots.
The game is advancing and when the right time comes, you will have plenty of screenshots, AARs, reviews, etc.... you have my word.

We can't publish right now new screenshots, sorry, but perhaps some arts... or even a concept or two.

If it means you have more time to work on the game, by all means, work and let the goodies slide. I would rather have a good-playing game in (say) 12 months than 11 months worth of goodies, followed by a half-finished game.
Just my opinion, of course

That sounds reminiscent of what I'm hearing about a recent release...
