Hello, the amount of fixes now is small. This is because my time for extra-job&family is now almost zero. So my apologises to all.
Two of the listed fixes proved to be neverthless quite expensive and I can say they brought more stability to the game. For instance, in the past I experienced a crash once in a while and now, after these fixes, I can play for hours with no crash. Also, the last fix concerns a stack ID duplication that was generating some noisy side-effects (placement of enemy units in friendly stacks, crashes, loss of synchronization in PBEM and Multiplayer TPC/IP - LAN games, etc etc).

Nice job Calvinus. Hopefully things are up to speed after the beta gets tested for awhile, and you can have a life once again.

Ohh I already have a life.

I'm wondering if it's worth to make
VIth French Army locked in Paris till the end of 1914, if France is AI played, just to avoid the French capital is captured. Indeed I noticed that AI tends to build a solid front-line in Belgium-France border leaving Paris under the threat of a flank maneuver. This is a limit of 1914 automatic victory rule (Germans win if Paris falls within 1914), that means if Germans send a tiny flanking force to siege Paris (siege artillery kept in reserve from the IInd Army), even though the BEF cuts its lines of communication, if Germans are enough lucky on die roll, Paris can fall before the flanking force vanishes for isolation!
What's your opinion?

Help for the AI is always appreciated.

Sounds like a good idea. The AI definitely has a tendency to leave that left open and nobody protecting 'home plate'.

Since I have never managed to get the German Army close enough to Paris to make an end-run lunge before the snows fall, I'm not sure if such a restriction should apply to all French War Plans (assuming the solution here is a new War Plan Turn Rule).
After reading Robert Doughty's Pyrrhic Victory: French Strategy and Operations in the Great War, I get the distinct impression that GQG was fine with Paris looking after itself to provide the field armies with freedom of maneuver. If this is accurate, then only those war plans that leaned towards defence should include locking VI Army in Paris. The maintenance of a continuous line by the AI is pretty well executed in WW1G and I would beware of subtracting an entire army in all cases would seem potentially more harmful to the AI than the current situation.

Ok, I'll take a decision after Easter vacations. 1.08P will probably become the new official patch.
