British not English

Sorry to sound like a broken record but in the scenario descriptions you refer to the British as 'English' in several places. The most jarring example being in the 2 'Grand Campaign' scenario descriptors where you have '...English Expeditionary Forces (BEF)..' *shudder*

The British consist of the English, Scots, Welsh and (Northern) Irish. English and British are not interchangable. Never were, never will be.

I understand that it is a common misconception (a translation issue) to some of our other European brothers, but nevertheless, it is a valid complaint: Many Scots, Welsh and Irish died in all the Wars since the Union Acts (for the Scots and Irish at least, longer for our Welsh brethren) but it is like calling all Americans 'New-Englanders'.

Just thought I should clarify :)

Agreed, I'm a Scot, very pro-Union, unlike a card carrying-SNP member like you Aye, but I still feel frustrated when I see Britain referred to as England.

Agreed. This has to be foolproofed... :coeurs: It's done in the manual, but ingame texts have to be checked again for this... just lacking an English ;) native-speaker to do so... :D

OK, where are the text files, I'll have a look.

Had a look around the map in Britain and saw some spelling errors in province names and cities. For example a quick look brought up these:

Provinces:
Pool should be Poole
Tauton should be Taunton (I think)
Harrogate should be Harrowgate
Carliste should be Carlisle

Cities:
Carliste should be Carlisle
Edimburg >.< should be Edinburgh

There are a few others I would need to check.
