Weird Russian Flag

Judging by screenshots, the following version of Russian flag is used in the game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Russian_Empire_1914_17.svg
However it looks pretty strange with that yellow corner. The wikipedia reads:
"A variant of the flag was authorized for private use by Tsar Nicholas II during World War I, adding the Romanov eagle on a yellow field in a canton in the top left-hand corner. This variant was never made official."
So why using it in the game since it was not official???
And honestly with that yellow patch it looks somewhat ugly. How about shifting to official version with the next update?

Indeed, it can be done...the idea in the beginning was to help distinguish a bit with the Serbian flag (even if the order of colour stripes is not the same, it may be confusing for some...)

Perhaps an option would do? I have to say though that I'm indifferent. For identification's sake, I suppose the standard tricolor would be better, especially as I am sure that it was still used all over the place, officialy or not. I don't think there's that much danger of confusing Serbia and Russia (for people who are going to be interested in this game in the first place).

All AGEOD games were highly praised for its historic accuracy that's why every single detail is important. Authentic means better. Moreover, Serbian flag is obviously different from Russian, as you can see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_flag To make things simple, you need to put Serbian flag upside down to get Russian flag. Actually, since the order of colours is different, i really don't understand how two of them could be messed up.
There are some more tricolour flags of red, white and blue in Europe, such as the French and Netherlands flags. But I don't think we should as well alter them or add some additional elements upon them out of fear that some careless people will be confused. Just my 2 cents.

Flag will be fixed with the next (non urgent) patch, in December. Thanks. :)
