I didn't like some of the stock sounds so I edited and/or replaced some of them.

This sound mod shortens the length of the sounds associated with clicking in territories, such as that train blaring it's horn long and loud. It also replaces the voice overs for "Charge", "Retreat", "Hurrah" and so on with combat sounds. Battles sound like there's some fighting going on instead of some guy sitting in a can yelling charge, retreat, forward, etc.

I also tracked down that telephone ring that would occasionally happen when you clicked on an army and switched it to something more subtle.

I also just removed the song that plays during the initial loading screen. It got old after awhile, and it's a long load screen.

Here's version 2 with the previous sound editing included.

Just unzip to your install folder & overwrite - default location is C:\ProgramFiles\WorldWarOneGold\

These sound mods should still be working fine but let me know if something goes awry during any updates.

I used some of them and they worked just fine
