Hello,

In 4 player the Ai vs AI Battles (Unpatched & Patched) eventually go into possibly endless AI loops, with the AI not comitting/acting.

This is with strictly turn based on. Whether Army by army activation is on or not makes no difference.

In my last attempt at playing the game , the first AI vs AI Battle:-

Round 1 took 1 minute before both sides had engaged,
Round 2 about 1,5 minutes
Round 3 after a further 5 minutes got the 3 finger salute (open task list an manually kill the programm)

This is on an XP installation, Athlon64 3200, 2 GB RAM.

Are you logged in as PC Administrator?

Is there any Antivirus that is not configured with WW1.EXE like trusted application?

Is there any resident program running in background that causes such lags?

Hi,

With sounds & Music off - I got through multiple battles in the pre-turn & August.
In September the first battle was a large Battle,

Round one was okish
Round 2 - French AI had committed & engaged, German had after a bit committed, but waited 2 mins before engageing.
ROund 3 - never finished.

During Round 2 i switched the task manager on-
CPU was at 60% occasional peaks upto 70%.
Memory committed was just over 1GB

Try to totally turn off the Antivirus.

By the way, what Antivirus?

For example, I was never able to run the game with Norton Antivirus (similar issues like yours), even if disabling it (I was forced to uninstall it).
Similar problems (but lesser) with Panda.
