I purchased the package for WWI. I already have DX 9 installed and have no idea where I'd put it when asked for path so have that part. My problem is that program refuses to accept your serial key. I am using the one on the back of the manuel and have attempted with both all caps and with all lower case. Keep getting message I'm using the wrong serial key. ?????????????????

Send a PM to me and Philippe with your serial key. I will be able to check the serial key not before this evening, sorry. Also, be sure you typed the full number, so including also the '-' characters.
Thanks,
Calvinus.
Edit: I can double-check your serial code as soon you send me it by PM.

Oh, didn't even think about that,

if it doesn't work with the original disk it shouldn't work with any other. Anyway, I apologize, it just did not connect with my mind.

Ok, I tested your serial key and it's valid: the game runs.
So, please check the following files (located in the game folder):
WW1.ini
Serial.ini
Open them with a text editor.
Check if the serial key is present...
If absent, add it manually. It means the Configure Game failed overwriting the files... Administrator priviledges missing?

Did a complete uninstall, clean install and then edited the files. Had to create my own file and and make the original .ini files txt files but finally the laptop is working just fine. Will work on the desktop when I get off work. Thanks so much for your quick and helpful assistance.
