Consistant Crash in Events phase.

This has happened a couple of times now at the same point. This is the "Microsoft has encountered a problem and must close" crash.
It happens when the WORLD WAR ONE DAILEY NEWS is up on screen. It has happened for me on Rebellion and on Strike events. When I move the cursor over the page to click on one of the given options the Microsoft anouncement pops up and the game closes. Each time I restart and work my way back to the events phase new events happen and this screen does not always come up. I will start again and it does I will save at that point before moving the cursor and will post a zip.
An auto save would be nice maybe at the end of each military phase. plowing the same ground is tedious to say the least.

Sorry to hear you're having these problems, gbs.

In any case, I've moved the thread to the tech support forum, since that's a better place for technical issues such as this

Hi,

i have the same problem. I'm playing the demo v.1.05f.
The game crashes after the June 1915 Event phase, when a newspaper report for a rebellion event shows up. I had this error in two
different campaigns. I reloaded older savegames several times, but the error
occurs always in the same turn.

In the previous version v.105c i didn't have these problems.

If the crash occurs regularly at the same turn/phase, do not hesitate in posting here the (zipped) savegame (both .SAV & .MAP).
Try also with sounds off.

Thanks,
Calvinus.

Hi,

here is a savegame, saved in the June 1915 Event Phase. After ending
the Phase the error should occur.

I tried to reload it also with completely disabled sound, but it didn't help.

Thanks in advance,
Alverion

Tested. No crash, I'm finishing now the June 1915 turn, with no freeze and no crash. I'm using the version 1.05G that will be publishe as beta tomorrow morning...

Just to be sure, I will make the same tests on all PCs here at home. :bonk:
