Got a ctd in the scenario of tannenberg - In the third round (maby the last action) after resolving the last battle round as germany.
This was my third tannenberg scenario but my first crash.
And I hoped so that these technical problems would not affect me. :p leure:

Can you try please disabling sounds?
It seems that the mp3 library we are using for the musics & sounds play-back generate conflicts on some PCs.
I'm going to work on this as soon as possible, moving probably to another mp3 library.

Does this means that if we delete the mp3 library everything will be fixed?

It takes a lot of spaces on my HD, and if I cannot use it I 'd rather delete these files. ;)

No no! :coeurs:
Launch the WW1 Configurator (Start Menu > World War One > Configure Game) and disable the sounds (use the proper check-box). ;)

Calvinus,
because it don't happens everytime and so I have to try it more than once:
Do you mean the complete sound or only the in-game music?

I have a game-save of the tannenberg scenario in the third round and will try it tonite because for me the ctd seems only to happen at the end of the scenario.

I will report.
Thanks for the help
and I think that
if the big manual is available and
if the technical problems are solved
it is a great game! ;)

I've tried with sound disabled.
4 times just started the saved game.
3 times with no crashes.
Last time ctd while AI was working. The only thing I did was pressing the "Pause"-Key.
Sorry, for me no real improvement. :(
