Downloaded and applied activation patch. When I launch game its says my serial no. is invalid. It didn't apply serial no. yet. How do I do so ??

There is a little menu entry with a label like "configure the game" (or whatever in english...). You will find it under Start | Programs | AGEOD | WWI. It launches a dialog where you can type your serial n°

and don't forget, the serial number is in the email confirmation when buying the game!
