Unable to Stop French in 1914 Scenario

Hello guys, after finishing tutorials and Austria-Serbia campaign, i thought it would be a good idea to finish 1914 scenario before starting to a grand campaign. I play as Germans, but there is a problem. As soon as i complete my turn massive French attacks start in Alsace-Lorraine. I can hardly stop them, and sometimes i can't. Since my forces are locked, i can't prepare a defence. Isn't there a problem here?

You must load all forces in your battle boxes and bring in reserves after the first or second round, 1 at a time it takes a little practice, but this is an awesome game!

I am doing that but for example in -this may be wrong- Straßbourg i only have 2 units, and it is not enough to stop French :(

Retreat! Or local reserves you can call in should appear in your reserve box often there are 10 or mor units you can bring in.

What are local reserves? And are they only available in the scenario?

I think CSS means for "local reserves" the Reserve Units displayed in the Reserve Box of the Battle Window. ;)

I´m pretty sure he means the reserve unit queue. Without using this it´s nearby impossible to win the scenario.
