I have some interrogations, doubt...

1 /First, La recherche, when I found new weapon, like Gaz , what is move after ?? Did my troupes will have some one ?? I have to by it in the reinforcements pages ??

Also I wonder how share with my fellow allies this sweet weapon ??

2/ The sea... most of the time, if i send the home fleet near german cost, it will a battle (like jutland :thumbsup but most of the time, german fleet won... And that borring me, i think I miss something on the sea battle (did you put your dreadnought first or second line ???) I know german fleet was quite powerfull historicaly, but come on, the Home fleet, I'm french and know (sadly) how good the navy was...

And also I wonder how use u-boot, with the entente, if you are lucky you will have Italy on your side (lucky...) there is two submarines and when I send to the adriatic the game didn't say I have send Uboot, what is wrong ??

And I understand nothing to the reinforcement phase... Did you switch your wounded unit ?? (cost PR) did you product gun ?? ship ?? How repair a unit (I mean switch the side is the only way ??) etc...

Comment bien mener des combats navals ?? faut il attendre un peu (1915) avant de bouger la flotte anglaise ??
Par ailleurs, étant trés bon diplomate, les italiens m'ont rejoins dès 1914 , il dispose de 2 sous marins dans les pouilles, mais quand je les faits patrouiller, le jeux ne considère pas que des U-boot sont sortie (la fenêtre en haut qui reprend la politique, les munitions, les morts, le rail etc...) il reste à 0 ?? je comprends pas ??

et encore plein d'autres questions... mais j'attends déjà de voir si ça mord !!

Hopefully someone who isn't observing les vacances d'Aout will wander by and answer this.

maybe to do with Charles Trénet I dont know the answer..

This allows you to adopt a new combat doctrine (gas) during grand offensive battles).

It's shared automatically after 1 turn (same front allies) or 2 turns (different front allies).

I have to say, first when i bought the game i was little disapointing, but know you did an incridible work, i never such a complete and deep game (so deep than i :bonk but i love it ! Congratulations

But i still dont understand the naval boxes, and someone can explain me what was "the grande offensive" I play entente 2 players, septembre 1914... (because i understand the game slowly then i have to replay...).

Grand Offensives take place since 1915 onward, with the Trench Warfare (Fire-Power doctrine). During 1914 you have yet Movement Warfare, warplans adoption, so no Grand Offensives.

Naval Boxes? Do you mean the Off-Map Boxes? They are land areas, in most cases with an harbor and a coastline, so naval battles can take place there, yes.

Simply build as many U-Boots as possible, if playing on the side of Germany, to sink as many Allied merchant convoys. If you play on the side of UK, instead, build and deploy at sea as many DE and DD naval units. They will work as "escorts" to your merchant convoys. The U-Boot box shows indeed these stats...

Strategical Submarines are instaed another matter! You see them as "physical" units in your fleets and they are used both as reconnaissance units and -of course- to torpedo the enemy fleets during naval battles.

Reinforcement Phase is used essentially to place reinforcement units and flip the wounded units to full strength.

So if I understand well (not sure) the reinforcement phase work like this :

some units are automaticaly drop to your stack (in the biggining to respect war plan).
some are "disponible" and you simply drag and drop where you want (evrey where ?? even in colony ??).

Then you can also "repair" wounded units to flip side (is the only way to repair ??).

And you are the reinforcements box, here you can build some ship, upragde troops, etc...

And for the sea box i mean the "battle box" how it works, did you put your ship in order (first the short range, and medium then long, or it doesn't matter ??

In Europe reinforcements can be placed only inside supplied detachments or major cities. Outside of Europe, in theory only colonial units can be placed in colonies.

Long range units are the best ones, so place first them. Then medium range units, and so on.
