Regarding reserach: If I've reached the point where I can only research one or two techs at the same time, can I reduce the amount of money from 40 to say, 20, and still be able to research those two techs with the same probabilities?

Regarding air units that have progressed in techs to where the zero in the 'support' circle is now a one - when they are provided as reserves in a battle, what do I do with them? Or put differently, what effect, if any, do they have on the battle?

The required 40 EPs must be fulfilled whatever is the amount of technologies under research.

The support value is used when the air units are employed during the land battles with the Air Support doctrine.
