Ok - tried to load a saved game and the map file but it appears all I can do is try to imbed the map file into the saved game file - won't let me save map file as 'rar'. Why are the British in France still apparently supplied?

Secondly - where is 'Hajez' (sp) - got a perplexing event notice that there was a huge uprising that requires Turkish occupation of this 'spot' on the map or I lose 1 NM Turkish point per month?? If that's Arabia it's occuppied by a sizable British corps??

I see France is capitulated, so she grants right of passage and supply to both sides at war. As a consequence, Boulogne is considered a supply relay/source even if a German stack is stationing there. In fact, the control of the area is still French, so no supply cut! Sorry but you have to assault the British troops! :D

Use always the CTRL+S shortcut key on stacks when you have such doubts. ;)

Hedjaz is the OMB south of Aqaba, I see no British forces there.

Calvinus,

Thank you. I know I'm on a slippery slope here because I'm entering into questioning game design and historical what ifs. That said, I find it very hard to fathom a German Army and government, after forcing a French surrender, that wouldn't have occupied and exploited France for everything she had. Even if the Germans had felt compelled to grant generous terms to France, I also find it real hard to believe that a SURROUNDED BEF would be able to keep itself supplied in France. I'm sorry, but the situation in my current game is flat out weird!

Does the British forces actually occupy/control the supplying cities and lines? If so, I can see how they would be in supply as, technically, they'd be occupying enemy territory.

After an enemy nation capitulates, do you still have to move troops into each location to secure them (even if none are occupied by then)?

No, British forces do not control the areas. Supply checks are based only on control of areas, not on presence of military forces. This is to keep game perfomances at an acceptable level. In fact, if I add checks on military presence, the game can become very slow! ;)

When you move yours across the territory of a capitulated nation, you do not gain the control of areas, but you have nevertless the right of passage and you can freely trace supply lines.
