Hey!There are some bugs during my game about the WWI news.After the capulation of a certain country ,there comes a surprise,the news shows that the country joins in the war.

If you have a save before the capitulation, post it here (zipped, .sav & .map).

No I haven't .During the news phase ,it is hard to save the game.But there are the problems.The countrys' names are Turkey and England as far as I discovered.

I have also seen the same messages after a country surrenders, i.e. the country joins the war... I have ignored the messages but it does looks a little strange .

If you get some time, could you look at the attached game saves. Britain seems to surrender on each turn and then the screen pops up that they have joined the Entente. Now I don't know what the status of the surrender is?

It seems to join in the war,but it actually doesn't.

No they don't apparently re-join the war...I have seen this in all my games and no biggie. However, in the saves I sent to Calvinus I think Britain surrendered and rejoined in two consecutive turns. Cornfusing to me

Have seen this sort of thing on several occasions as well but figured that the game was just running through the assorted probabilities and routines to calculate the final results. Confusing to be sure but from my experiance the end-state appears to work as designed when this happens.

I tried your save for a couple of turns, no war popup concerning UK...

Thanks for looking at the saves. Think I probably saved the games well after the surrender/rejoin the war messages. Sorry for wasting your time on these saves. I've deleted these turns so will try to save a future turn w/ the same occurrence.

I had the same problem yesterday. Played AH (in a 4-players game), when Turkey (which joined the war on CP's side earlier) surrendered. Unfortunately I have no safegame file

Just wanted to confirm that. I will start another game and try to keep the safe-game file this time...

Do you remember the text of the message or at least an outstanding part of it. So I can check which part of the game engine source code generates that message notification and see what can be wrong...

It happened during an interphase - I lost some NW-points due to the "unexpected surrender of Turkey" (I think that was the message). Then this newspaper-pop-up window appeared and informed me, that Turkey has joined the war on Germanys side . Shortly afterwards another newspaper window informed me of Turkey's surrender.

However I started into a new game and will make save-game files.

I need of the exact text of the war declaration popup.

Probably I found the bug... next patch.
