This may sound really stupid; but how do you tell who has won a battle ??

You see two different crossing swords close to the flags. Tooltip will say who is the winner and who the loser.

This does sound stupid indeed - but as I asked myself the very same question a few days ago, I know how you feel!

When you look at the "battle-results"-screen that pops up after the battle, you will see two crossed swords for every side (near the flag). For the winner, these swords point to the top, for the looser they point to the ground.

It could be more clearly visible, though ...

Also the musical cue is different.

I was wondering that myself.

I suggest again a change in the "swords" icons - use a "laurels" icon for the winner, a broken sword for the loser, or just nothing for him (didn't deserve it ), whatever but icons should be more differentiated, I always have to look twice and use the tooltip to be sure who did win...
