1.04 issues, wishes

Had a CTD when exiting the game back to the main menu. It was after saving the game and then going back to options to quit. I'd played for probably a half hour or so. Under 1.03 I'd had only one CTD in about 9 hours of play so they hadn't really been an issue for me previously. I'm running with configuration settings set to your suggestions, I do preload the map as that makes scrolling smoother. Have Dual 2.4mhz P4 xeon CPUs and only 1 gb of RAM so I know I'm on the lower end of performance for the game 
Ghost Duels. After 3 legitimate Air Duels I had to click through 7 or 8 Air Duel battle screens where there were no planes involved from either side. Results window showed 0s all the way down on both sides. Could it not skip these?
Big wish. After saving a game could it not return to the Options menu where you can quit from? As it is it drops you back into the game with the AI unpaused so you have to wait until the AI finishes or gets to the point it accepts pause key, then you have to wait for the mouse to come back under control, close the message windows and then go to Options to be able to quit. Kind of annoying when you just want to quickly save and quit the game
Definitely improvements have been made, no battle screens I couldn't get out of due to disabled buttons
Big thanks for moving the map mode buttons to the top of the lower right panel. No more accidental scrolling of the map and much easier to click on
