The first diplo phase allow to send Amb overseas and declare missions, then those dipl. actions are resolved (England declares war, Neutrals swing towards one alliance..), but then "another" diplo phase kicks in, it says I can send Ambs now, but I can't !
How is that supposed to work ? :confused:

Edit : sorry, in fact it works, I can send diplomats again, I just forgot the Amb button (damn this interface !) :bonk:

... But why do we get 2 phases ? Only to be able to react to the 1st one given the broad spectrum of possible results ?

The very first "diplo phase" in the 1914 GC, is in fact the initial reaction of countries. So I dont even plan any diplo mission to it, I wait for the "regular" diplomacy phase which immediately follows.

Seems to me you can get diplo actions in both phases - 200% Amb work !

Yeah, but the Balkan States, Turkey, Great Britain and Italy are getting checked automatically (diplo action performed on them) in the very first phase anyway.
