Unit Counters?

Since this game is based on an excellent existing baordgame, will there be an option to show Unit Counters instead of figures?

I suppose that it will be either (choice of the player) 3D figurines as seen on a screen or the standard figurines with uniforms.

If we have time to produce them, we shall have counters available as an option

I agree, sometimes i enjoy the unit counters, it just adds to the 'board game' feel.

I prefer figures, but an option for counters is great, makes everyone happy.

im sure that the making of counters by the gfx man will not tax his skills too much

Looks like Guns of August. Nice but I would like the NATO version as well.
