AgeOD at it....again. :)

I am not surprised about this review...but i wonder if the readers out there know that AgeOD games increase their value after a while with the patches. I hope they review the game again when it will reach its full potential....

...which is impossible since this engine has unlimited capabilities.

Upward and onward!

Thanks, but the only result that matters will be the sales numbers

In this aspect, I'm not quite satisfied with the press coverage we get so far. I fear not enough wargamers are aware of WIA release (I got scared when Troy Goodfellow wrote it was a nice surprise for him).

I have received ten press inquiries, but some big guns such as Armchair General or Wargamer are still missing. This is partly my fault as I went MIA just when the teasing should have begun. However this must change.

I can only advise those who wish to help to on the Forums: to post first impressions, to ask for reviews or to write reviews yourself.

People has the right to know... :cwboy:

Slovenian gaming magazine Joker is still interested in preview copies of your games and all media information you can provide (pictures, media) so they can write reviews of your games. Its a shame that none of your game was EVER reviewed here...

Visibility is essentially the biggest exploit of Matrix as publishers. Thousands of wargamers over there...all forums in list each of those players plays multiple wargames.

It will take some time before everyone is aware of this release maybe it's not a bad thing after all, we can make the game even better as per standard quality-price curve in AgeOD. ;)

Ah, it hurts me when you say this. I try to help by making a lot of advertisement on other sites. Maybe you should try to release a demo asap. It's much easier to feed you these virgins if they can play something before they forget and fall in love with more mainstream games.

I think the demo should also give a glimpse of the campaign game (not just short scenarios like ACW demo). This is what wins over people ultimately to your company, there are a lot of other good scenario based games. It's the campaigns where you really shine!!

The real pain is wargaming is currently lacking cruelly of a non-publisher forum which would be highly frequented. For a time Paradox OT was a substitute... Matrix is rather a world in itself, with a large part of buyers who will not buy a game not sold by Matrix channel. The Wargamer forum hasn't great audience. Players( and the Ageod forum follows the same trend) have a great tendancy to stick into publisher forums, which is great for community sysndrom, but poor for getting a new audience.

The real solution is internet publicty: the free by players and the costly by AGEOD...

Now the member list on this forum shows a real raise of new registrations since 2 days. the spread will be slower than for precedent games but I'm pretty sure it should work well in the next weeks

I found you through wargamer.com It was the ACW review done 1 1/2 years ago that prompted me to buy it. So you should get them to review Boa2.

I post news on sim sites sites like simhq.com, subsim.com where I know a lot of potential players hang out. Wargamer / Matrix forums are too convoluted and engaged in special interest games, or maybe I just not got into them enough.

The totalwar scene should also be frequented by people who would be interested in this type of game.

I would say you should encourage your fans to post in niche forums, wherever people complain about the state of wargames. When it comes to people with gaming experience, Player2Player recommendation is the trend these days.
