Dear Friends,
I would like to introduce you to a new member of the AGEod team.
Florent Quesnel (Nickname: Hok) has just joined us.
Florent is a game designer. He is currently helping the team with Napoleon's campaigns. Later, he will take in charge the BoA Gold projet and several other small (but secret) AGEod projects.
AGEod has developed the AGE engine, a powerfull game engine that simulate historical conflicts at operational level. The AGE engine is currently developed under 3 versions (Birth of America, American Civil War and Vainglory of Nations) according to the period and the type of gameplay the game designer wants to offer. Using this modulatory approach, AGEod can reduce the cost and time needed to develop a new game. This revolutionnary engine has been conceived and is still being developed by Philippe Malacher (Pocus) and Philippe Thibaut (PhilThib).
However, each game needs loads of researches (maps, orders of battle, scenarios, events, etc). For each game, we gather a a team of passionates who will work with us. The bulk of this research work relied on Philippe Thibaut. This bottle neck was reducing the pace at which we could develop new games.
The arrival of Florent will give more time to Philippe Thibaut to work with Philippe Malacher on new modules for the developement of the AGE engine (diplomacy, battle module, etc.) and will allow AGEod to propose you in 2008 some new conflicts using the BoA or AACW versions of the engine.
Welcome aboard Florent!!!
