Rise of Prussia Gold soon on the online store!

Rise of Prussia Gold includes 2 years worth of updates and fixes, improvements and even some great new features and adds 3 new scenarios to this strategy classic.

“It’s great to be back in control of Rise of Prussia after more than 2 years”, says Philippe Thibaut, Director of Ageod. “It now makes sense to invest in it and over recent months we’ve created new scenarios and features to build a Gold version. And for those who already own the original Rise of Prussia, we will also release a special Upgrade Kit to update it to the Gold version.”

Rise of Prussia Gold is available as a full new game or as an upgrade kit for Rise of Prussia. NOTE: The Upgrade Kit is compatible with all non Steam versions. We will be releasing a Steam version as soon as we are permitted. If you just can't wait it is possible to install the upgrade kit on a Steam version but you must manually navigate to the install folder. Our tech support team will be happy to help with any issues.

Rise of Prussia gold in a nutshell:

2 scenarios on the War of Austrian Succession. Maria-Theresa reveals herself as a surprisingly good ruler, but will it suffice?

A revamped grand campaigns geared toward multiplayers. 4 human players supported.

Regional decisions added! Cavalry reconnaissance, Land Mines, Drafting, etc.

Lots of little retouching there and there in scenarios and discrepancies fixing.

4 humen players is for that : 1 Russia, 1 Autrichia, 1 French, 1 Pruss-British

or : 1 Autrichia-French, 1 Russia, 1 Prusse, 1 British and other Germany ?

Same here. The addition of regional decisions is very pleasant. Was RUS the first game where this feature was implemented? It's an awesomely flavour strategical layer, and it gies a better addition than "events" to historical options.

Will this addon be available here at Ageod, or only at Matrix Games ?

What is the length of the two new scenarios ? Do they cover the whole Austrian Succession War ?
Too bad there is no map expansion to the west and fights in Belgium (Fontenoy !)...

Yes, also at Ageod of course. The new scenarios are about 2 years in duration, brief but intense. It's only the Prussian intervention on which they focus, not the whole war (for it we missed time plus a much enlarged map, may be in the future in case we are succesful here)

so the entire first Silesian war, dec. 1740-may 1742 (18 months) and the entire second silesian war, Aug. 1744-dec. 1745 (16 months).

should be fun...

It should, if Gamersgate does not sell the Steam version of Gold upgrade.
Don't be fooled by "Other DRM", as for Gamersgate a here simple key is a DRM, and Steam is not...

Not yet...but the update kit shall be compatible with Steam versions, we are working on it

How much will it cost? The game, not the upgrade.

Also can you list the bug fixes and updates? I own it on Steam but I will support you guys and buy it on Matrix if there are really real bug fixes and true updates.

Last Steam patch was at least 6 months ago, so you may missed last quickfix 2 months ago:

You think these are not enough, not real fixes, and hope for better with the kit? If any, those 'real' bug fixes could happen for free on the base RoP, something like the old last patch for base only WW1 game.
So, you could wait for the reviews after release.

Dont't forget to disable Auto-updates in steam for RoP.
Than install 1.04a patch and than 1.04a QwikFix2.
Last version in steam — 1.02.

Until Steam updates ROP with latest patch and sell the upgrade kit, there is always the possibility to update the Steam version of ROP manually with the upgrade kit (you just have to know where is the folder). As Kaguya says, you have to disable auto-update though or Steam will revert you to 1.02
