Pride of Nations and Rise of Prussia are back home

After many weeks of discussions, we are very pleased to announce that Pride of Nations and Rise of Prussia are coming home. From 1st March Paradox Interactive have surrendered their commercial rights to sell any Ageod game including these two flagship titles.

Consequently our forums will be the place to discuss these games and all aspects of future releases, update and news.

As you are all aware Ageod joined the Slitherine Group in January this year. Both Pride of Nations and Rise of Prussia were built on the AGEOD engine and were released during Ageod’s period of time with Paradox and since leaving Paradox and until joining the Slitherine Group their future has been uncertain. We now have to tell you that the future is bright! and to celebrate this move we can announce that we are working on a patch to upgrade both tiles. This will only be available through our Group outlets.

Our Policy will be to continue to fully support our developers and their titles at realistic price points, in order that they can continue to bring you quality turn based strategy games. This involves the effort and work necessary to support, update and improve our games as and when this is needed, even long after initial release. So rest assured that we will continue to discuss and engage with our audience, on how and where to patch and add new features where possible, so keep contributing we are listening.

That's great news. Will you guys provide any patches/updates/DLCs to both of these games in the near future?

We can somewhat thank Paradox, as they could make PoN and RoP both Steam-only games like all their games will become at least threatened by the DRM.

Hello!

This is really a very good news! I love the turn-based strategy games by ageod. :coeurs: I find them more sophisticated and elegant than the paradox games. Maybe there a PON2 sometime? That would be so nice...

Regards, Andy

Good to hear - I hope we might see another DLC or expansion for these games

Well, I hate that your two teams couldn't get something going, but if they didn't share your vision for what you want YOUR wargames to be, then have a nice life to them, and see you never. I like some Paradox games but I like Ageod games better!

Very good news. I did however purchase PoN via Steam and RoP via GamersGate.... Are either of these outlets part of your "group outlets"?

I like both games very much and if I will have to repurchase these from your outlets to get access to any future updates/DLCs then I would do so without hesitation.

No you do not have to repurchase. We will support users on whichever platform they purchased.
