good news !
Still couldn't finish Stalingrad scenario after months but I recommend this game. Very good AI with excellent refined gameplay.
I think there is also expansion planned with editor.

Postby Tomislav Uzelac, 2x2 Games, Tue Nov 27 2012:
Some of the text is indeed hardcoded, and you could concievably mod the pyo files to change it, yes. Good luck with that though

A lot of the text however, is already available in separate files in the data directory. You could for example, make a translation of the tooltips. That would already be of help to many people.
Anyway, if it was an easy thing to do, we would be doing the translations ourselves already. :?

Just noticed that in the Ageod shop apparently only the PC version is for sale, although the game exist also in a Mac version - on sale by the developers and at Gamersgate, etc. Why not a Mac version in Ageod shop ???

I bought UoC in the Ageod shop yesterday and mailed him about the Mac version and today he sent me the Mac version without extra charge
That's Ageod Level support !
They have one more faithful client

Such a great game. UOC really brings a lot of new supply and movement tactics to the genre. I just hope they expand the game and implement some new scenarios covering different periods of the war. A late 44-45 campaign would be awesome. A lot of people didn't like the look of the units and the map, but I think they did a great job all around. Everyone should pick this one up.

honestly and with all due respect, i prefer the ageod style for all epoch in the games, with historical events and historicity in all aspects.
what caught my attention in the games alea jacta est, american civil war, birth of america, napoleon campaings, revolution under siege and rise of the Prussian is the exquisite historical attention and its gameplay, which gives a depth, realism and immersion to the campaings unprecedented never seen before in other games.
