Nice preview. They seem to like it, though the previewer mentions he wishes there were shorter 'evening' sized campaigns. Good to see some early media coverage.

Some brief Northern tribe-suppressing mini-campaigns perhaps – even if they were semi-fictional – would have been a boon for newcomers looking to transition from the trim tutorials to the continent-spanning splendour of the large multi-year scenarios.

Apart from the semi-historical I couldn't agree more. Learning to play the game through some smaller barbarian stomping would be nice. Especially as barbarian stomping doesn't immediately have to mean 'overpowered curbstomping ahoy' when one pays some good attention to developing the victory goals. Plus personally I've always greatly enjoyed the challenge and fun of smaller scale scenarios.
