Games Convention (Leipzig): First "spy" snapshots

Hi all,
It's a been a busy day so far. After an early wake-up, we made it to the Game convention (not without having previously forgotten our business cards and USB keys due to said early getting up).
The day has been packed with business meetings. Leipzig is a great place to discuss with all of your past, present and future partners. Therefore, Philippe had arranged a lot of meetings and our neighbors were observing with puzzled looks at the queue sometimes forming at the (poor looking) AGEod.
We mainly discussed about new distribution contracts for Wars In America, and last but not least, Philippe has presented the alpha versions of "Vainglory of Nations" and "World War One". We have also discussed about our next "Frederick the Great" game, and potential other future projects.
Anyway, here are some snapshots from Philippe while he was presenting "World War One" then "Vainglory of Nations" prototypes to some business partners.
We should be meeting with some journalists tomorrow afternoon.
Cheers,
Korrigan

i've just discovered the ageod games. i've been playing the demos of WIA, NC, and AACW, for the past couple days non stop. i dont think i've been hooked on a game so much

Congrats on all the hard work. because of WIA and AAcw, im more intrested in those conflicts.
3 more games in development?? are you guys trying to make me go broke?

i know without a doubt that i'll be buying those new titles blindly when they are released. i've blindly bought games before, (never 6 though from a single company) but with this company, i know i wont be disappointed.
you guys have secured another loyal customer. another thing i like is the fact that you stay in touch with community and still patch.
so congrats again and keep up the good work.

Thanks for the photos, Korrigan

Luckily, I'm sitting at my work computer with its 1600x1200 screens, allowing me to see the (large) images in one screen

Thanks for the screens
On the first two we can see world war 1 and the last two are VGN, right ?
Both look fantastic for now and I have no doubt that the gameplay will be even better.

Hehe... actually Vista was uninstalled from this Laptop and XP installed instead

(we used to use it to test our games with Vista)
For WW1, the code is 95% finished (Lucas is essentially improving the User interface and importing the graphics and data bases) and the engine runs smoothly on this basic laptop.
For VGN, there is still a lot of work to do with the engine, but most of the work should be about displaying the map more smoothly.
Unfortunately for those who were planning the Games convention this week-end, the Business center will close friday evening, and in fact nobody really takes business appointment after Friday noon(everybody is going home). But still, the public convention is something to see...
Cheers,
Korrigan

Great screens... but why is the game map upside down
Maybe I am just too used to the "left-to-right" system of most WW1 and WW2 games ....

Ack! yes, please do include an option to have the map with the North pointing to the top of the screen. this map layout although makes sense from a certain perspective just makes the thing look weird

+1
Another dream come true.
The old SPI "Frederick the Great" boardgame is probably my favorite wargame of all time.

Did I hear someone say Frederick?

I just knew you guys wouldn't give the Great Frederick short shrift. First WWI and now Fred; I need a longer life.
