Ahhhhh, now I see what you mean, the link to the subforum is broken :non: ... but the AAR subforums still exist. :eyebrow:
Until I fix the broken link, you can see the AARs in here:

Ok, fixed.... but what do you mean about the "general area"? :sherlock:

Any chance you can fix my access to the TEAW and WON beta forums? I can see
the CW2 beta forum but not the other two.

there was a directory within the closed area that had a lot about coding events, the tester software and so on. This has disappeared and I think was open to anyone who had any access to any beta forum - was incredibly useful for double checking new events for syntax etc

This may seem trivial but it will have a lot to do with how much time I spend on this forum.

I really don't like the look of the forum.

In the old forum you could quickly tell at a glance if there was anything you wanted to read.

To get that effect you would have to shrink the front page down considerably.

Is there any way to do that?

I was never a great fan of the old colors, but I think I prefer them to the current one. Are there settings for changing the font, color type, and color background?

I'm not impressed with the new anti-spam defenses. There don't seem to be any.

Ahhh, now I see which subforum you talk about .. I do not think that was meant to be open to EVERY BETA TESTER really... that must have been some permission went wrong a loooong time ago :non:

ah I might have got permission as part of the work on PoN events then - but I thought it was an 'open' (ie to all betas) forum as it wasn't really game specific

With the new forum, the anti spam filters need to be tweaked again. We are on it (the web team more exactly)

This whole episode reminds me about the old saying about not fixing what is not broken. The old forums were fine, and I liked it better than what we have now.

However, we must deal with what is, and hope that this forum gets close to where it was before the changes.

Just my opinion.

On the surface the old forum was not broken, but it was generating a lot of issues for the web admins.

I did not realize that. Of course, the forum should work well for the web admins as well as us users.

Thank you for the explanation, now it makes sense.

I wonder if you would consider restoring the old colors, particularly the dark option. The combination of that particular shade of letter color and the black background was very easy to read, and very attractive. I am not the only one who would like to see it back.
