Hi Paul, you don't give any information about the error. What exactly are you doing to get the new scenario to appear? (You have put your files in the correct game directories and are then pressing F9 during the load screen?)
Do you get the words "Edit mode on" in the top right corner? If not, do you have an F-Lock key? If so this may be in the wrong mode.

Are there any errors in the logs under the /logs or /scripts directories?

Cheers, Chris

I'm going to look for the obvious syntax errors themselves for now. It'll be late this evening though before I can probably give you any feedback.

Main Log Errors.

Hobbes - I have put all files in correct places. F9 used. Edit Mode On.

I am thinking Cities has bugs possibly.

Gray,

Exellent! That will be it for starters!

Okay. We have a real error log now!

Only 6 errors.

Now I just have to understand what is wrong in my Excel.

By the way, it's standard convention to name the Cities files with Citiesxxx first... Using your cities file for example... it would be more acceptable (but not absolutely required) to name it CitiesCA1750.inc instead of CACities1750.inc, but if you do so, be sure to change it in the setup tab to match and then re-output the script.ini file, and regen the scenario .scn file.

The most useful debugging file is the ScriptReport.txt file.

I noticed that the CSVSplitter that you're using did not recognize the ScriptName given in the Cities tab... so be sure to rename the generic cities.inc to the correct name before placing it in the /Includes folder. One of your errors seems to imply that it could not find the correctly named cities file. Not sure if that was a problem or not.

Seems there is a dud line in the excel for Cities.

Once removed the city file loaded okay.

Script Log is vastly bigger now.

Down to 2 errors. Game didn't crash.

But Game units and Scenario Units did not appear yet.

Doesn't like my Amsterdam setup:
Line 7393: Great Britain , Fort Amsterdam Fortress created in region United Provinces
Line 7393: => ApplyCreateStruc command 2 factions have exclusive structures Latest addition Amsterdam Fortress UID of Owner 1000002 Conflicting with (UID of Owner) 1000001 Check also between the Setup tab and the primary controler in the Cities Tab
Line 7399: Great Britain , Depot Amsterdam Depot created in region United Provinces
Line 7399: => ApplyCreateStruc command 2 factions have exclusive structures Latest addition Amsterdam Fortress UID of Owner 1000002 Conflicting with (UID of Owner) 1000001 Check also between the Setup tab and the primary controler in the Cities Tab

Hmmm, my setup tab has Amsterdam as GBR, my Cities tab has it as GBR.
Not sure why it is not happy.

Complete Success!

Seems there was two places GBR needed to be, and I had one FRA on the City line.

Now, I am off and running!

Thx to everyone! :D

Spyder women's insulated ski jacket in blue

This is a piece of women's Spyder jackets in blue and white. The design lines and color accents on the Women's Spyder Ski Jacket compliment your curves without going all snow-bunny fluffy and flowery. You shred on stormy, cold days and in sunny weather, and this jacket handles it all. This vented outerwear features a detachable rollaway hood that helps keep you covered in light snow and rain conditions. If you usually wear a helmet or accessorize with a Spyder hat, the rollaway hood won't be a necessity--and you'll probably forget that it's there when you put it away. There's also a data card pocket。If money matters but quality counts for everything, the Spyder Women's Lightning Jacket fits right without ever feeling like a fiscal compromise.
