Mod Where - 1.04c or 1.05 Beta

Okay,
I think I am ready to try my simple custom.
Now, I have two installs thank to some of my PBEM friends who forced an upgrade on me.
Do I try my mod in 1.04c or the new 1.05 Beta?
I am thinking 1.04c as 1.05 is not officially out?
Seems both are coming with same error:
Line 1: => SelectFactions, no factions selected, criteria: 0
Unknown keyword at line 3 =
