Turn 59 Februrary 1780

The opposing armies are all in winter quarters in most of the colonies,Cornwallis and Leslie are getting ready to march and destroy Lazun who is camped somewhere near Wilmington,Sir Charles Grey is holding Wilmington from possible attack by Lazun and his French army who i hope are feeling the effects of low supply.
Nothing much happenig this turn but i expect things to heat up over the next few turns as Washington in Albany and Lazun near Wilminton are brought to battle .

Turn 60 March 1780

The North remains snowed in so not much going on there,General Washington is still holed up in Albany with a powerfull army.
The main actions are on the cape fear river,The 17th/16th Dragoons have sallied out of Wilmington to engage some rebel militia but the rebels slip away into the wilderness.Colonel Courtland Skinner leads a brigade out of Wilmington and inflicts a defeat of a regiment of French infantry.

Turn 61 April 1780

The weather in the north is still winter like,Clinton has prepared his army for a march north to Albany to take on Washigton.

In North Carolina Cornwallis and Leslie join forces to take on the French who are camped at crooks creek.

J F Specht marches out of Richmond Virginia to attack and capture Charlottesville,The assault is a success and the remaing rebel flee into the wildeness

Turn 62 May 1780

Well guys ive got a bit more time these days so back to the rebelion,General Washington is beseiging Fort Stanwix with a powerfull army but the German garrison under the command of Colonel Rall manage to hold him off,Washington moves off into the countryside.

The British C in C Clinton marches his army north to Albany and is ready to assault the city next turn.

Sir Oliver DeLancy has concentrated a small army at Lancaster ready to assault the rebel capital of York.

Lord Cornwallis is trying to engage the French army under the command of Lazun but he manages to evade.
