Hi there,
I'm new to AGEOD games and these forums and I just started playing WIA!
My problem is the font size is way too small in-game. Is there any way I can change the resolution in-game? If yes, how?

Like the great man whose name I have borrowed, I'm OLD.
Thanks.

Go to your WiA directory and click on AGESettings.exe. Play around with screen resolution

Unfortunately that does not work, it does not remember my changes and defaults back to the windows screen resolution. No matter, I'll change it that way.
Thanks again Carnium.

Strange. Did you remember to click on CHANGE after your selection?
Also make sure that files in WiA folder are not in read only mode.
Good luck!

Hi,
I have the same problem, I played with the agesetttings.exe and I the game resolution is always the one of my screen (native), I even changed directly the display.opt file to a custom one (by changing the screenwidht and height + fullscreen=1) but nothing do, I still have my native resoltion each time I am lauching the game.
Thanks
PS:
my display.opt file is showing this:
ScreenWidth = 1366
ScreenHeight = 768
ScreenDepth = 32
ScreenFrequency = 60
Cursor = Software
FullScreen = 1
Windowed = 0
Borderless = 1
BrigthnessLevel = 0
MapBrigthness = 0
But when I play the game the resolution is 1920*1080 - full screen (my native resolution)
The "standard" / windows mode is working as normal, its only an issue with the fullscreen mode.
My configuration: win 7 on a nvidia GTX570m, playing with the latest BoA2 patch, nothing fancy or unusual.

you can change FullScreen to 0, Windowed to 1 and Borderless to 0, to have the game runs in a 1366x768 window
if you want to run full screen in 1366 mode and it don't work, then can you verify your graphic card can switch to this resolution? By changing it directly with the desktop menu.

Yes, the windows mode is running fine, my card support the 1366x768 resolution, its just for some reason each time I select to run in Fullscreen the game resolution switch to my screen resolution whatever is the display.opt file or what I chose in the agesettings.exe
I found a workaround by playing with the fonts120.ini file, and activate the smaller font option, by increasing slightly the font size (+2) for all of them, the text are bigger without being out of the interface.
