flotte de motte

im playing france in FIW 1.06e.
just received the message that most of flotte de motte has been ordered home leaving just defenseur behind.unfortunatly they also took almost all the supply,leaving defenseur 2 months from friendly port with enough supply for 1 month.the fleet before the split had enough supply for 5-6 months but the ships returning home took defenseurs 'share' to top up their own stocks.is this WAD?
