Dear community
Ive recently read the epic novel of Kenneth Roberts and I liked it a lot, it is one of my favorite books now...
After Ive read the book I got interrested in that period and Im also looking for a great strategy game that deals with that time...
ETW seems like a sandbox game to me, focussing rather on graphics and effects, but not on history and the Europe Universalis series (which I looove ;) )
cover a huge timeline and offer less space for military tactics...

So dear community, do you think that this game would suit me?
Wah it would be just great to command those Rangers in the jungles of North America around Fort Oswego or launch my own offensives from Michilimackinac deep into indian territory ;)

Hi!

I think you have found the game you were looking for ;)
As you can see you won't miss Rogers and his rangers, nor the upstate New York wilderness nor the Indians, nor the raiding around... ;)

And if you like Indian wars and raiding don't forget to take a look at the great free scenarios Hobbes has done about the Pontiac's war :coeurs:

This is a great game for the period. If you want something on a more tactical level then you could also check this one out.
