Setting level of experience

Hi
I would like to know if it is possible to set different levels of experience from the start. I would like to make some of Hannibal´s mercenaries tough veterans from the start of the scenario, for instance.

Thanks for the link, so what would be the level for veteran troops, 1 star, 2 stars?

The only frame of refernce I have is BoA/WIA.
The experienced units generally get 1 star. If they have a 'training upgrade' or 'autoupgrade' path, they qualify right away. In BoA, we're talking mostly 'militia that were better drilled and there a while'.

IMHO: experienced troops = 1 star, veterans = 2*, true elite units = different model..... :cwboy:

What do 'elites' in NCP look like?

By different models, all units seem to start with 0 experience.

Experience is set in the scenarios setups. In NCP, most French units start with 1 (some even 2) experience in the early years (1805-1807), at least those in the Grande Armée...

You are right, some Garde units have even level 5!
I noticed that also generals start with some experience
What is the level you see fit for Hannibal´s veterans and Hannibal himself? I am opting for level 2, with some units left in Spain and Africaas level 1
