Glanced at Italian Region names: here are some examples to be corrected.
Mantua: it's English or Latin.
In Italian MANTOVA.
Trevisa: it's wrong.
Italian correct name TREVISO: (see also starting post).
Pula: probably English.
Italian name POLA.
At present POLA is a Croatian town. In Napoleon's time it was a Venice Republic town.
BTW, Italain name for Venice is VENEZIA.
Genua, in Italian GENOVA.
Hope all that will help.

Pula is in Croatian language :

We could open a can of worms if there are too many different suggestions for region/town names based of the nationality.
Small example :
Kranj (my hometown) in Slovenian
Krainburg (German)
Carnium (Latin)
My suggestion would be to use English or the original names from the period the game(s)/scenario(s) take place.

My same suggestion at that point in time. Makes it all easy and accurate at the same time. Cuts the head to the bull as we say here
