Hi AGEOD.

I'm a big fan of your previous games and just tried out the NCP demo. Impressed as always by the depth of the scenarios and the generally intuitive interface.

However I am still really missing a comprehensive Order of Battle or Chain of Command interface. I realize that working in DirectX rather than with a windowing system makes adding new interfaces time consuming but the lack of such an interface makes reviewing ones forces on the first turn or even on a new turn tedious.

I'm imagining a standard tree view
or a cyberbolic/radial view
http://www.windowsitpro.com/Files/3484/Screen_03.gif
or even better clickable a military COC diagram

would be a great enhancement to the playability of your games.

Keep up the good work!

You speak the truth. DirectX is a chore for that.

The third image can't be viewed, and I would be interested :)

Glad you are interested. It's also called an Org Chart:

or

or

Somthing like these but with each box containing the same info that one finds in the F1 screen, including ability to click the NATO symbol and have it select that unit or force.

That alone would be helpful.

For bonus points, add an indicator for the Locked/Unlocked status of a unit and what kind of orders it has (Movement, Repair, Pillage, etc).

Adding a filter for orders and locked status would be useful too. It would be great to be able to get a quick list of all Forces that are unlocked and have no orders.

I can draw up an example if you need it, but I bet you get the idea.
