Downloaded from gamersgate last night, and can't install patch. I read through the posts here and downloaded the foundation patch (in French) and then tried 1.03c and keep getting "can't load D3DX81ab.dll" when I go into the patch to start the game. I was going to uninstall and try again but the uninstall option doesn't work on the main program. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

is D3DX81ab.dll presents in the game directory? It is c:\program files\Napoleon's Campaigns usually. You must see alongside NCP.exe.

I wonder if the patch is installed in the right place also, perhaps you should try to apply both again, the foundation patch and the regular patch.
