Problem with Renaming Games

Every time I attempt to rename the game at start, for example changing "1813 Campaign" to "PBEM-Brad-v-Bob", the game crashes. This is true on every scenario. I am patched through 1.02c. The game functions fine if I do not rename the saves. Is this a common problem?

Hm, works fine for me in 1.02c. Sorry...

I don´t know if it is related to renaming, but when I received the turn file from Brad there were some problems in the setting up. Most Corps commanders, and Eugene, commander of the Army of Italy, were missing. Some of the leaders were shown faceless. I upload here the turn file if Pocus want to take a look

The log stipulate that you are under 1.01.
And that you installed the game under Matrix games folder, shame on you

Is it the continuation of a previous game? Beware, these days the patches break often the save as the Historical Team is often changing the database (and missing faces are caused by DB problems).

No, it is the first turn. I haven´t even given an order so far.

I am sure it is user error, but I am having difficulty getting the 1.02 patch installed. I moved NCP over to it's own directory outside of the Matrix games folder, and I thought I was pointing the upgrade right into the NCP folder, but it is not taking. Is there something I am missing perhaps?

The correct path is not NCP but Napoleon's Campaigns... Beware, the directory structure is Napoleon's Campaigns\NCP but the executable and the patch target must be Napoleon's Campaigns only. You are better to a full reinstall I think.
