How on earth did that get there?

Started playing the Austerlitz campaign and was about 5 or 6 turns in when everything went banana shaped. So I thought, reload from turn 2 and have another go. It was as if I was in another dimension - Nappy had changed into a completely different general (with new portrait), other unit pictures were missing and strangest of all, I had a sizeable fleet just outside Nuremburg.
I reloaded turn 6 and all was fine. In fact all the turns were fine apart from turn 2.
