Specific crash since Patching

Since installing the latest patch (1.05a), my game crashes at the end of the first turn. After I hit next turn it will process, then it says "GHQ has wrong supply" or something similar. The whole program shuts down (closes back to desktop). I uninstalled and I can play fine with basic version, but after I installed the patch, it always seems to crash. Does anyone has any idea?

I bought it in a box in China, so that's probably true. How to resolve? Just purchase a download copy? (I cant buy a box as I'm still in China) Or play without patching I guess........ :)

I purchased a copy and have a new serial, can I just reinstall with my new serial? or do I have to download the whole new version also?...apparently not, GHQ sent me another message.....

Patch over the previous install and it should be ok. You bought from us (the website) this time?

Yes, I bought it from your website. I reinstalled the pirate copy (1.02) and then used the new serial and patched, it didn't work....so I am now installing the download version (1.01?) and I will patch it with (1.05a) the latest patch and not the fondation patch right? (Wish me luck....)

I have now installed the new downloaded version

Then patched with the latest (1.05a) patch. End of first turn calculations gives me wrong supply for GHQ. If it's copy protection, it doesn't work properly.

What do I do know?

Do I need to foundation patch it?

Please help!

Hi liambussell!

Please run the configuration utility (from the Start Menu or directly "AGESettings.exe" from the program directory) and enter your new serial there. Make sure you run the program as user with administrator rights.

If this fails please send your new serial as well as the file "General.opt", which can be found in the [game directory]\AGE\Settings\ to [email="support@ageod.com"]support@ageod.com[/email]

It works now!

Thanks very much to everyone for your help...when are you releasing a Grand Campaign :)
