Can't get them to move

Hi,

as a newcomer (good morning, all) I have ried to play the Austerlitz walk through as posted. Even after several tries I have never managed to get the Grande Armee (GA) and the corps from Strassbourg to arrive at Ulm t the same time. Neither with nr without pressing the "synch move" button, either for the GA only or for all of them.

Trying to work it out and understand I have started a fresh game a few times, doing nothing but trying to move the lot to Besancon.

Sometimes one of the corps appears "not activated", which I understand can happen. But the it aso does not accept marching orders to Besancon at all, which I think it should as this is not an offensive operation.

Sometimes a corps simply disappears.

Can somebody please give me a step by step guidance on how to move such a stack?
Issue orders to HQ only?
With or without pressing synch move (should be default, shouldn't it?)
Ordering all of them?

I bought the game onlie from http://www.napoleons-campaigns.com/ form wher I have also downloaded the associated patch.

Thanks in advance

Synch commands only work for corps that start in the same area and even then it doesn't guarantee that they arrive in the target area at the same time. I usually plot the corps separately in any event. The other corps will follow in a day or two (check the etas when you plot them) or will march to the sound of the guns.

Corps sometime disappear by accidently dropping them in another corps. I've had that happen frequently and usually attribute it to being uncoordinated or drinking while gaming.

Don't have the game in front of me atm, so I can't give you a step-by-step.
